Brazil, the biggest target of cyber attacks in Latin America

Bank asset recovery programs can also be interesting for debtors

A report released by Kaspersky at the end of last year showed that Brazil registers more than 1,500 malware attacks per minute.

According to the study, these attacks are aimed at stealing information so that criminals can gain access to banking services, social networks, online stores or payment data, such as credit cards, for example.

As a result, the importance of lawyers specializing in cybercrime is growing, as they have an understanding of how virtual attacks occur and are prepared to provide diagnoses, draw up strategies and action plans to combat them.

There are a variety of lawsuits that can be filed in cybercrime cases.

The most common are:

🎯 compensation for moral damages;

🎯 removal of inappropriate content from the internet;

🎯 non-compliance with security standards and the General Data Protection Act;

🎯 failure of security systems.

It is important for professionals to have the sensitivity to put themselves in their client’s shoes in order to also support victims who have been shaken by the actions of criminals who, in many cases, hold a lot of private and, in some cases, compromising information, capable of causing serious damage to their image, family and financial assets.
